What comes to mind when you hear the term “faith”? Faith is an important component of life, not simply Christianity, whether you recognize it or not. When you sit down in a chair, for example, you have faith that the chair will support you. You’re hoping the chair won’t give way under your weight.Importance Of Faith Everyone Should Know

That’s faith: knowing what you’re hoping for, even if you haven’t seen or experienced it yet. “The substance of things hoped for, the proof of things not seen,” says the Bible (Hebrews 11:1).

1. It is impossible to please God without faith.

Why is faith so important? We can’t please God if we don’t have it.

“But it is impossible to satisfy Him without faith,” says Hebrews 11:6, “because he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.” Let’s face it: believing in a God we can’t see and that He is who He claims to be requires trust! It also pleases God.

2. Jesus Notices Our Faith Level

We witness two different persons in the book of Matthew, each with a different level of faith.

“Then Jesus answered and said to her, ‘O lady, amazing is your faith!'” Matthew 15:28 Allow it to happen how you choose.’ And her daughter was completely recovered from that day forward.”

“And instantly, Jesus stretched out His hand and seized him, saying to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?'” Matthew 14:31

I was shocked! I discovered a way to enjoy my morning coffee and fight the extra weight that was keeping me from seeing myself the way i wish!

What I love about it is that it is natural, Vegetarian, Non-GMO, Gluten free... Perfect for everyday use!

I felt a boost in my metabolism and amazingly, I didn't feel that much hungry as before!

The woman was a Gentile who believed that Jesus was her daughter’s only hope. She would not accept “no” from this Jewish Rabbi, so Jesus, impressed by her faith, granted her request.

Peter, Jesus’ own follower, was the one who lacked faith! Peter had the faith to walk to Jesus on the sea, but as his eyes were drawn to the wind and the waves, he felt fearful and began to sink. We, too, must keep our eyes on Jesus rather than our circumstances if we are to maintain our faith in the face of adversity.

3. Faith prompts God to take action

What is the significance of faith to God? Faith, not need, uncertainty, or fear, is what moves God. “When Jesus observed [his companions’] faith, He said to the paralytic, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven you,” according to Mark 2:5. The wheelchair-bound man stood up, grabbed his mat, and walked home! When Jesus witnessed the lame man’s friends’ faith, He intervened on their behalf and healed him.

As Christians, we frequently pray to God, asking Him to provide for our necessities, heal our health or relationships, or provide us insight. However, as James 1:5-7 states, we will not receive what we ask for unless we ask in faith and without doubt.

4. Faith helps us to persevere in the face of adversity.

We will experience challenges because we live in a sinful, fallen world. Our faith, on the other hand, is what enables us to persevere in the face of adversity. Our faith serves as a shield against the wicked one’s schemes and plots: “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the wicked one” (Ephesians 6:16).

When our faith is tested, we should not be surprised; James 2:3 indicates that “the testing of your faith creates patience.” God receives glory as we persevere in faith in the face of adversity: “that the sincerity of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, may be discovered to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:7).

5. What We Do Is Fueled by Faith

What we do and how we live indicate our confidence in God. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without actions is dead as well,” James 2:26 says.

Consider the following scenario: Faith and works are both oars in your life’s row boat. They collaborate to help you progress. Genuine faith is validated by subsequent actions; similarly, actions taken without faith are ineffective. We must behave in trust at all times!

“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have actions, is dead,” James explains. ‘You have faith, and I have works,’ someone will remark. Show me your faith in the absence of your deeds, and I’ll show you my faith in the absence of my efforts” (James 2:17-18).

6. Our faith can help others.

Unwavering faith is visible, and it can inspire others to be steadfast in their faith as well. “We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,” says Colossians 1:3-4. “We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your trust in Christ Jesus and of your affection for all the saints.” When you see people practicing their faith in God, it’s simpler to stay devoted to your own. Choose to be a strong believer and to encourage others to do the same!

Timothy was a young minister under the mentorship of the Apostle Paul. “When I call to mind the real faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and which I am persuaded is also in you,” Paul writes in 2 Timothy 1:5. When we have a strong and sincere faith, we may pass it on to others, including our family and friends, and make a difference in their lives as well.

7. The Foundation of Salvation is Faith.

When Jesus walked the earth, the Jews were convinced that in order to be acceptable to God, they had to follow all of the commandments of the law. When Jesus arrived, however, He redefined righteousness: “…a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even as we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law…” Galatians 2:16 is a passage from the book of Galatians.

We are made right with God by faith in Jesus, God’s Son; what we do or don’t do does not make us right with God. For the Israelites, this was a huge change. They were accustomed to working hard for their salvation. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast,” says Ephesians 2:8-9.

Finally, we must be cautious with our trust. “But you, O man of God, escape these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness,” 1 Timothy 6:11-13 says. Battle the good fight of faith, grasp eternal life, to which you were also called…”

We must be willing to fight to keep our faith during life’s storms that will try to derail us. Indeed, as we maintain our confidence in God, it will sustain us through the most difficult situations, to God’s glory.
